Atticus Legal is a boutique legal recruitment agency with a strong presence across Asia and the Middle East, supported by our global affiliates. We specialize in connecting high-caliber lawyers with leading law firms, multinational companies (MNCs), and financial institutions.

Led by Sandra Godbold, who brings over 25 years of experience in the legal recruitment industry, our goal has always been to provide a service that feels both professional and personal — one built on trust, genuine relationships, and a deep understanding of the legal market.

With our base in Hong Kong and a strong network of partners across the Middle East and our affiliates worldwide, we’re well-positioned to meet our clients’ diverse recruitment needs.

Sandra Godbold

Founder and Managing Director

Sandra is the founder of Atticus Legal. After spending over a decade working for one of the UK’s largest recruitment firms in London, and successfully setting up their Asian operations in Hong Kong, her entrepreneurial nature successfully drove her to establish her own company in 2010. 

Sandra now gets great satisfaction from being able to spend quality time with her candidates to determine their right career choice and similarly, time with clients to understand their business, and ensure the right recruitment recommendations are made. 

Sandra has close relationships with the region’s leading international law firms and consistently places international and locally qualified lawyers at all levels throughout the Middle East and Asia, and with some clients in London.

Outside of work, Sandra is a master storyteller who volunteers weekly for a local charity.

Anita Drouin

Anita is constantly focused on building and maintaining relationships with clients and candidates. She brings several years of experience managing a business consultancy to the firm and is an integral part of the Business Support recruitment team.

Anita understands that the legal secretarial, marketing, finance and administration roles are key to the efficiency of any firm. She continually strives to find the very best talent for her clients whilst ensuring her candidates’ career aspirations are met.

Anita loves to spend her time appreciating nature and having a picnic with her children.

Angelica focuses on supporting international law firms with their business support recruitment needs. She values authenticity and takes a people-centered approach, making sure she understands both the requirements of her clients and the aspirations of her candidates. Her goal is to create meaningful matches that support long-term growth and success for both sides.

Outside of work, Angelica enjoys watching documentaries, learning about different cultures, and spending time with her family.
